Collectibles.com have noticed a recent boom in their dolls sales due to recent major media news stories and documentaries featuring lifelike baby dolls. Just in the past few days this collectible phenomenon has been profiled on NBC's "The Today Show" and a BBC America documentary entitled "My Fake Baby".
